A New Day 03:28
Verse 1: Wake up in the morning the sun lighting up his eyes Praying he’d be happy all I hear are tears and cries Because it is, school he must attend Or sometimes it’s a job that he just jumped in He’s a boy, a boy amongst men Today is the day that summer ends Chorus: This is life Preparing for the future Dealing with the torture This is life Verse 2: So my advice to you is role up your sleeves Get down and dirty and do what you please You’ll be doing this till your well past 40 My best advice to you is please don’t worry Verse 3: Do you ever wake up in the morning to your alarm Or to your mom shouting and cussing and shaking your arm To the beep of the car horn or the shuffling feet You try to hide from the day tucked up under the sheet Today aint gonna wait from you, it’ll leave you behind Itll leave you by the corner store, begging for wine So wake up to sun and raise your head to the sky believe in yourself kid cuz its your time to shine Don’t ever let nobody up to stand in your way Including your mind on that very first day Cuz its your world to conquer but it comes from within It’s hard to do right child, but its easy to sin Chorus Chorus

Verse #1 I’ve been to places all around the World Seen so many places and met lots of pearls New England Patriots and men in red sox I’ve seen Irish drinking jumpers, down by the docks It’s the under ground city that leads to the rollin’ hills Or you can go down south, down to the mills It’s my start and most likely my end It’s the pace where I grew up and it’s the place I met my first friend Chorus: Because people people we are all the same Come from different walks of life and probably have a different name So when you talk to a stranger listen to what they have to say They can teach you what they learned in life and you can probably do the same Verse #2 Drifting to the west coast where the Jazz like to play And the Rocky Mountains tower, around Salt Lake City And a split in belief, brings both violence and peace But when the sky opens up and the flakes fall down we all float through the trees Why Because… Chorus Verse #3 If you look into the eyes, of a man that knows it all He doesn’t have to say a word to be oh so powerful You can tell by the way he smiles, and the way that he reacts The way he treats his friends and family, he’s got the world upon his back Chorus Chorus

Stay United 03:35
Verse 1: If he looked in Gods cabinet And took a look at his notes Would he even want to know What his pen has been told Verse 2: A small town boy in a city Taking the bull by the nose With so much hidden in his closet Piles of dirty clothes Chorus: We must all stay united, like the states we live on We must all knock down these walls, that seem to stand so tall Verse 3: In a blood related difference He looked the devil in his eye Took a friendship and broke it But never did that man try Chorus: We must all stay united, like the states we live on We must all knock down these walls, that seem to stand so tall Verse 4 When a brother is in need, of some guidance and help Reach your arms out and feed him, never let him starve himself Chorus: We must all stay united, like the states we live on We must all knock down these walls, that seem to stand so tall

Verse #1 It was that morning she first met her daughters eyes Glowing together in bright lights But soon a shadow cast upon her face she was a mother all alone Building her magic out of nothing, stretching her pay check day to day But she was strong and would fight to get along With nothing standing in her way Verse#2 He was that brother that walked through that door And wandered right into her life His innocents, his laugh, his love for the world She never expected what came next A dose of poison from the gate keeper of hell Took him to his waiting cell She kept believing that his trail would circle back But his trail hasn’t circled yet Verse #3 He was his little boy’s hero from day one Helping him weave his way through life That little boy grew up into a grown accomplished man Never thinking of his fathers end But one day he got that phone call we all dread Son, your father’s health is failing him With that boy’s hands tied behind his back He watched as his father’s sun set Chorus Sometimes we taste the lemon That leaves a bitter taste on our tongue With sadness riding us to the depths of the ocean Drown that sadness with love

Verse 1: Creating friendship but growing fonder Never knowing about the next step When’s the right time, create the tight bond But is it out of line Late nights, always thinking bout, how things should be How I wanted to see, the future make it a reality Personal conversations alone in a bedroom Hating when they’re over so soon Two people two different worlds, combination deadly but sweet As the frosting on the cake, something’s going to make it complete Difficult decisions from day to day, never knowing if my time will pay Chorus: The affection that I feel inside But afraid her reaction will hurt my foolish pride Understanding this relationship will never be the same Am I willing to sacrifice the pain Verse 2: I’m down on my knees as I take it with ease To think about our chemistries and how I feel her energy Along this quest I second guess How I am obsessed and afraid to confess that I love more than just her dress She always tells me I’m too sweet But now I’m caught up in it too deep man I thought I knew me I’m going to try to make the best of it before I give it a rest and quite But now she knows, I let it slip Chorus

Verse 1: This world is a heavy weight fighter That swings to knock you out She ducks and weaves til she gets tired, and one strike knocks her down She looks to the ringside for the strength, to bring her to her feet But the weight of the world upon her shoulders holds her to her knees Chorus: Cuz this life’s a trip Throw it right at you But the best thing to do is to throw it on back Cuz tomorrow will come, so take a look in the mirror Make a pact to yourself, to see the colors in black See the colors in black Verse: As the clouds pass by her she realizes that she controls her wings She shakes the water from her feathers and mends those scars that sting See scars tell stories to remind us of where we’ve been in time She flaps and flutters with the wind behind her til she begins to fly Chorus: Cuz this life’s a trip Throw it right at you But the best thing to do is to throw it on back Cuz tomorrow will come, so take a look in the mirror Make a pact to yourself, to see the colors in black See the colors in black

Verse 1: Sometimes I feel as though I Am lost in this dark hole of life Knowing I’m going about 105 But this willingness turns into a bright light Verse 2: We feel like we can be Invisible shaded by a maple tree Sometimes we feel a bit tricked Never detecting this trip Chorus: But I'm willing, to be feeling and dealing with this pain But I’m gonna be in trouble, rather not be insane Verse 3: Why is it that I know That my physical being is there Running wild flowers through your hair Wondering to myself does she even care Chorus: But i'm willing, to be feeling and dealing with this pain But I’m gonna be in trouble, rather not be insane But I'm willing, to be feeling and dealing with this pain

Roots 03:20
So I’d like to tell you all about the road that I’ve been on About the pebbles I’ve been kicking down this road all along Verse 1 It’s so hard to tell along this road the wrong from the right Looking to my loved ones, do I turn left do I turn right I started out my journey in a rough New England city Soon to move on down the river to the rolling hills of Woodstock Pre-Chorus But I know, this road is far from the end Wish I knew; wish I knew the big mans plans Chorus: It’s been one heck of a ride walking down this path Swerving around speed bumps never missing the happy times Through the thick and thin heading down this track Always know your families gonna have your back Verse 2: Me and my baby sister, we were in it from the start Playing in the front yard until the light it turns to dark My mother and my father we look up to every day Teaching us the ways of life and then a baby on the way Verse 3: Who was this little creature, black hair and blue eyes Not knowing in the future, she was an angel from the sky Although opinionated, we grew fond from day one Not too long after the fact my father had his final son Pre-Chorus Chorus Verse 4: He was a firecracker, he was one of a kind Knew he’d take my mother for one hell of a ride But without him, he wouldn’t be complete At the dinner table we’d be short one seat Pre-Chorus Chorus

about

This album was inspired by my family and close friends. I could not have done it without them. Many of the songs are portraying personal experiences but the listener can relate to almost all of them. I hope you enjoy!
